Addressing my love for everything that moves, I decided to purchase my first golf cart in high school. Over the course of the next month, I refurbished it, including: paint, upholstery, engine rebuild, lighting and more. Once sold, I realized the opportunity I had and decided to create a small business and refurbish golf carts in my town. During my time in high school, I completed 5 golf cart refurbishment projects. By the time I left for college, I expanded the scope of the business to include electrical upgrades, suspension rebuilds, bodywork, and drive assembly changes. I even designed an airbag system for air suspension on the last golf cart I worked on.
My Role: CEO
I was responsible for all aspects of the business, and I completed all work on all the golf carts myself.
